Privacy Policy

NVight is owned and operated by 7Social, a business located in Brevard County, Florida, United States ("7Social", "NVight", "we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the NVight website, web app, and mobile apps. Using NVight means you accept this policy and our Terms of Service.

Account details such as name, email address, phone number, date of birth or age, gender, and city. Profile content such as your bio, profile and cover photos, interests, travel dates, and preferences. Content you create such as messages, plans, posts, comments, check-ins, ratings, reports, and support requests. Payment information is entered directly with our payment processor; we receive only a customer reference, plan status, and the card brand and last four digits. We never see or store your full card number.

Device and app data such as device type, operating system, app version, language, IP address, crash logs, and push notification tokens. Usage data such as which activities you view, swipe, like, dislike, mark maybe, or save, which plans you join, when you check in, referral and invite activity, and general interaction patterns we use to improve recommendations. We use cookies and similar local storage for sign-in sessions, preferences, and basic analytics.

Location is optional and off unless you enable it. Approximate location or your selected city is used to show relevant things to do nearby. Precise live location is shared only when you deliberately turn on meetup location sharing, only with the specific people in that plan, and only for the time window you choose. You can stop sharing instantly from the in-app banner, and sharing ends automatically when the window expires. You can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings.

To create and secure your account; to operate matching, discovery, chat, plans, and check-ins; to personalize recommendations based on what you like and interact with; to process payments, subscriptions, trials, and referral rewards; to send notifications and emails you have opted into or that relate to your account; to detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, harassment, and unsafe behavior; to comply with law and enforce our terms; and to analyze and improve the product. We rely on your consent, the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interest in operating a safe service, and legal obligations, as applicable.

Your display name, age, gender, city, bio, photos, interests, and activity choices that you make visible are shown to other members. Messages are visible to the people in that chat or plan. Off-site contact details are never revealed automatically; they appear only if you and another member have matched and you choose to share them. Assume anything you post or send can be screenshotted or shared by the recipient, and do not post information you would not want made public.

Service providers who operate the product under contract, including our hosting and database provider, Stripe for payments, Google Maps for maps, places and directions, Resend for email delivery, and push notification delivery services. Event and venue data partners including Ticketmaster, Eventbrite, and Foursquare, where a booking or lookup requires it. Other members, as described above. Law enforcement, regulators, or other parties when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of any person or of 7Social. A successor entity in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We keep your information while your account is active. After you delete your account we remove your profile, photos, swipes, saved items, and plan membership. Some records are retained longer where necessary: transaction and tax records, safety and abuse reports, blocked-user records, and information we must keep to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce our terms. Messages you already sent may remain visible to their recipients. Residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period before being overwritten.

We use encryption in transit, access controls, row-level database security, and limited staff access to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee the security of information you transmit to us or that other members will handle your information responsibly, and you share information at your own risk.

Edit or remove profile information at any time in Profile settings. Turn push notifications on or off in the app and in your device settings. Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any such email; we will still send essential account and transactional messages. Delete your account permanently from Profile settings. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Email privacy@nvight.com and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting.

NVight is strictly for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor has created an account, we will delete it. If you believe a minor is using NVight, email safety@nvight.com immediately.

We operate from the United States and our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. If you use NVight from outside the United States, you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

NVight links to third-party venues, ticket sellers, event sites, and maps. Those services have their own privacy practices and we are not responsible for them. Review their policies before providing information.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date and, where required by law, notified in the app or by email. Continuing to use NVight after a change means you accept the updated policy.
